Setting up an SAP® CRM connection

You only need to define this setting if you use Compliance Screening for SAP® CRM.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Go to AEB Cockpit: CustomizingCRM connection.
  2. Maintain here the RFC destination used to connect to the SAP® CRM.
  3. Additionally, you have to define the organizational unit "CRM_DEFAULT" for using the SAP® CRM module.
  4. For information on how to maintain an organizational unit, refer to section Maintaining organizational units.
  5. In the connection settings, store a connection for the organizational unit "CRM_DEFAULT" and the business object "CRM_OBJECT".
  6. For information on how to maintain connection settings, refer to chapter Connection.
  7. For the organizational unit "CRM_DEFAULT" maintain the target system log language.
  8. For information on how to maintain the target system log language, refer to section Setting up the log language in the target system.
  9. If you want to use the SAP® CRM module’s e-mail distribution depending on the sales organization, maintain organizational units for these sales organizations.
  10. Organizational units are created according to the following example:
  11. For CRM sales organization “1000” define organizational unit “CRM_1000”.
  12. Next, maintain the mailing distribution for the organizational units. For information on how to set up mailing distribution in principle, refer to section Setting up mailing distribution.
