Connection
The connection with Trade Compliance Management can be determined based on the organizational unit, the business object and the module.
To set it up go to AEB Cockpit: Customizing – Connection.
Click New Entries and run the input help (F4) to find possible values for data maintenance.
- If you want to use the same connection parameters for all organizational units, business objects and modules, leave the fields Organizational Unit , Business Object ID and Module ID blank ("Wildcard").
- If you want to use connection parameters that only differ based on the organizational unit, maintain an entry with the appropriate connection parameters for every organizational unit.
- If you want to use connection parameters that only differ based on the organizational unit and the business object, maintain an entry with the appropriate connection parameters for any combination of organizational unit and business object.
- If you want to define connection parameters based on all of the three criteria together, maintain all combinations of organizational unit, business object and module.
Other maintenance options are not allowed.
Input help is provided for destination, client and profile. The destination can be one of the following types:
- RFC destination (created with transaction SM59)
- HTTP destination (created with transaction SM59)
- Logical port (created with transaction SOAMANAGER)
The client and profile are original values from Trade Compliance Management.
In the profile settings are defined for checks in Trade Compliance Management, amongst other things. This includes for example the similarity threshold and the restricted party lists used in screening.
These settings are transported and can be changed directly in the production system ("Current setting").
You always have to enter a connection for the DEFAULT organizational unit.
