Adding an AEB account to your tenant

Did you try to create an AEB account for someone on your team and get a message that an AEB account already exists for that email address? You now have two options.

1. Contact the person directly

Do you know the person using the AEB account? Then contact them directly. Ask for an alternative email address to create another AEB account for that person. Otherwise, the person can have AEB delete their existing account so that you can create a new account in your tenant with that email address.

2. AEB handles the communication

What happens then?

AEB contacts the person using the AEB account. We wish to confirm that the person agrees to be added to your tenant. We’ll give the person your email address and tenant data, such as the company to which the tenant is assigned. The person can choose between the following options:

If the person provides an alternative email address, AEB will let you know. You can then use the alternative email address to create another AEB account for the person.

Once the person consents, the AEB account is added to your tenant. This creates a customer relationship with AEB. The user-specific information of the existing AEB account is copied and the remaining data is deleted. We have defined the following data as user-specific:

  • AEB user ID
  • Email address
  • Password
  • Your password remains confidential even during the move and can only be viewed and changed by you.

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Last login
  • Previous login

The AEB account is deleted at the request of the person. When this happens, all data on the previous AEB account, and with it the tenant affiliation, is permanently deleted and cannot be restored. The following data is stored in an AEB account:

  • AEB user ID
  • Email address
  • Password
  • Your password remains confidential even during the move and can only be viewed and changed by you.

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Last login
  • Previous login

Once the account is deleted, the email address becomes available again and you can use it to create an AEB account for this person in your tenant.

The person can reject the request. AEB will then take no further steps to add the AEB account to your tenant. If you have the opportunity to approach the person directly, you can contact them and restart the process if necessary.
