Shipping hazardous goods under ADR with Carrier Connect – lithium batteries
The following tips help you input data in Carrier Connect or transmit data from your host system via the API to Carrier Connect when shipping lithium batteries as hazardous goods by road under ADR.

Carrier Connect recognizes which information must be printed on the label or other documents and transmitted in the EDI based on the information in the dangerous goods item and the selected service provider. This requires that the selected hazardous goods type was implemented in Carrier Connect. You can find this information in the System Description: “Functional scope of the offered carriers offered”.
