Add-on for SAP S/4HANA

All AEB add-ons are released for the following versions of SAP S/4HANA® systems:

• 2020
• 2021
• 2022
• 2023
• 2025 (as of November 2025 release of the AEB add-on)

Integration with the respective SAP Cloud ERP takes place within the SAP Business Suite:

• The add-ons from AEB have also been released for SAP Cloud ERP private (RISE) with the above-mentioned releases.
• For SAP Cloud ERP systems that are operated under GROW (public cloud), integration takes place via corresponding APIs in the "side by side" model.

Maintenance always requires an SAP release which is part of the supplier’s “Mainstream Maintenance” or “Extended Maintenance” (currently always guaranteed until five years after the first release). Active maintenance will be provided for all S/4HANA® releases as from 2020.

Notes

• If message control is to be used to call AEB functions, NAST-based output management is a prerequisite. For activation details, see SAP Note 2267376.
• When connecting to the AEB data center via web service, the following settings are required for communication:
• Communication via web service requires enabling of SNI (Server Name Indication). For activation details, see SAP Note 2124480.
• CommonCryptoLib version 8.5 or higher is required for encrypted communication.
• Only connections with protocol TLS 1.2 and higher are supported. Therefore, activation via the profile parameter ssl/client_ciphersuites is a prerequisite as described in SAP Note 2110020.
• Data is transferred using the SOAP protocol in XML format. Therefore, the data to be transferred must be compliant in the SAP system for conversion to XML format.
• If customer exit MM06E005 is implemented for purchase documents as part of the project, proceed as described in SAP Note 2693530.
• The AEB add-ons for SAP must be updated once a year. If you do not comply with this obligation, you will not be able to use the services and support according to our General Terms and Conditions for Support.
• The SAP GUI is supported from version 8.00.
