Customers with a connection to the AEB data center (ATLAS Import/Export, EMCS or Clearing Center)
In the following, the requirements for access via the Internet are explained:
- Internet access and DNS name resolution, including DNS resolution of external hosts on the workstations. For working with a good performance, DNS resolution through a probably used Internet proxy is not sufficient!
- For the connection Customer – AEB Computer Center there must be a bandwidth of at least 128 kBit/s available (exclusively).
- The gateway machine must be able to access 194.175.186.9 (ATLAS Computer Center) via protocol TCP Port 443: rz3.aeb.de. Normally, this will be the ASSIST4 application server. Workstations must have access to this gateway via Port 4999 (ATLAS Import) or Port 4998 (ATLAS Export). If ASSIST4 Export Management uses several clients, there must be a further port available for each client in addition to port 4998.
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 C/C++ Redistributables (Runtime Libraries) see SAP Note 684106.
- Microsoft ATL Patch with new Runtime Libraries see SAP Note 1077727. For ASSIST4 Export Management – ATLAS Export, the ASSIST4 workstations must have access to 194.175.186.9 via protocol TCP Port 443: rz3.aeb.de.
- The connection of the ASSIST4 gateway to the Internet can also be made via a proxy. For proxy authentication, Basic or the Windows login (NTLM) is supported. Proxy systems which decode and check the connection via “man in the middle attack” are not supported due to security reasons.
- Virus scanners and similar applications that may impact the XML data flow must allow this connection to the PCs/servers.
For EMCS clearing, the Application Service Manager (ASM) must be installed (see EMCS Filing System Requirements).
