Host system connection
You can use default web service calls for data communication when transferring data from a host system into the AEB Cloud. Alternatively, data can be exchanged at file level via SFTP or Safe File Transfer (AEB solution).
- Web service / REST: Access to rz3.aeb.de via port 443 is required
- SFTP:
- An SFTP client is required (For Windows: psftp or puTTY, for example. For Linux: SFTP client from the OpenSSH suite, for example).
- The SFTP client requires access to the SFTP server in the AEB data center
- Safe File Transfer (only for existing AEB customers): AEB Connectivity Services is required. For more information, see the "Connectivity Services" system requirements.
Please note that the AEB Connectivity Services will be discontinued on December 31, 2026, and need then to be replaced by a follow-up solution. Further information can be found in the AEB Help Center, in particular in the section "SFT data exchange".
