Rule type – settings of the profile for Product Classification
If you are using SAP Classification 4.0.2, you must set version 2 as the version used for handling goods attributes in Trade Compliance Management in the client-specific settings (Administration – Compliance – Settings (client-specific), Export Controls sheet).
In combination with SAP Classification 4.0.2, it is mandatory to set a rule for the Export Controls check. The rule controls which profiles are used to determine the necessary classifications via SAP Classification.
Rule | Description |
---|---|
/AEB/CL_CMP_EC_CEP_STRAT01_BC | This rule determines the Classification Engine profile based on the organizational unit and the departure country. The country of departure is the country of the plant of the item. This rule is only available for sales document, delivery, and service order. |
/AEB/CL_CMP_EC_CEP_STRAT02_BC | This rule determines the Classification Engine profile based on the organizational unit and the departure country. The departure country is the country of the supplier. This rule is only available for sales document, delivery, and service order. |
Assignment plant country to goods attribute
This setting is not needed in an S/4HANA® system.
This table lets you define which goods attribute in the material master is assigned to the Export control number field and further additional fields. The Export control number field is located in the material master, Foreign trade export sheet – Export Controls − for national jurisdiction field group.
Additionally, you have the option of maintaining up to ten additional fields with further goods attributes in the Export Controls – Additional goods attributes field group.
Depending on the plant country and the material field ID define the goods attribute to be used. Maintain the goods attributes that you can assign to a material field ID in Trade Compliance Management beforehand.
In the Goods attribute maintained column, you can define additionally for a goods attribute whether a flag is to be available to indicate that a goods attribute has been maintained. The value selected here should have been created as a goods attribute with the possible values “Yes/No” in Trade Compliance Management.
To ensure that a ‘Checked’ flag is displayed correctly in the Export Controls field group, the name of the goods attribute must be maintained as ‘BOOLEAN’ in Trade Compliance Management. Example: ‘CheckedField BOOLEAN’.
If no alternative goods attribute was assigned for a plant country, the goods attribute EU export control number is used as default value for the Export control number field.
This setting also applies to checks of materials that have already been maintained.
If no configuration exists for the additional fields or their maintenance flag, they are not displayed in the material master.
