Assigning the tile catalog and group to roles

In order for a user to have access to the tile catalog and the group, these must be assigned to the user via roles.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Start the transaction PFCG.
  2. Select an existing role or create a new role.
  3. Open the role of your choice.
  4. Switch to the Menu sheet.
  5. Click Insert Node. To do this, click the arrow to the right of the button with the icon and select SAP Fiori Tile Catalog.
  6. As the tile Catalog Provider, select Fiori Launchpad Catalogs.
  7. Select the catalog of your choice by its ID.
  8. Check the Include Applications box.
  9. Confirm your settings by clicking on the green checkmark.
  10. Click SAP Fiori Tile Group.
  11. Select the group of your choice by its ID.
  12. Confirm your settings by clicking on the green checkmark.
  13. Save the roles and assign them to the user.
  1. The users will see the group with the corresponding tiles on their launchpad.
