Creating jobs

Prerequisite: The variants needed for the job are available.

To create a job, select the Create entry in the Job monitor's Job menu. Choose the product for which you would like to create a job. Next, possible jobs for this product are displayed.

Select the desired job. This brings you to the SAP® standard transaction screen for creating jobs.

The following values are predefined:

• There is a job step pre-assigned with the corresponding /AEB/ report name.
• Immediate start is preselected as the start condition.

Maintain the following options as needed:

• If the job requires a variant, the corresponding variant must be defined in step.
• If you want the job to be scheduled periodically, you have to do this manually.

When you have defined all settings, click the Save button (). The job you just created will appear in the overview.
