Creating jobs
Prerequisite: The variants needed for the job are available.
To create a job, select the Create entry in the Job monitor's Job menu. Choose the product for which you would like to create a job. Next, possible jobs for this product are displayed.
Select the desired job. This brings you to the SAP® standard transaction screen for creating jobs.
The following values are predefined:
- There is a job step pre-assigned with the corresponding /AEB/ report name.
- Immediate start is preselected as the start condition.
Maintain the following options as needed:
- If the job requires a variant, the corresponding variant must be defined in step.
- If you want the job to be scheduled periodically, you have to do this manually.
When you have defined all settings, click the Save button (
). The job you just created will appear in the overview.
