Check profile
This setting is only relevant for checking business partners, CRM business transactions, CRM business partners, or service transactions (SAP S4/HANA).
Go to AEB Cockpit: Customizing – Check profile to make the settings.
Use the Create button to create a new check profile. Select a check profile type. The type of check profile defines which settings can be made. The following types of test profiles can be used:
Type | Explanation |
---|---|
Across organizational units | A check profile of the Across organizational units type contains all settings that cannot be found in an organizational view of the business partner. For example, this profile allows you to define that all company codes of the business partner are to be blocked by setting the posting block in this profile and assigning the profile to the corresponding business partner check as profile across organizational units. If, however, you only want to block individual company codes, the setting must be made in a profile of the Customer or Vendor type and assigned to the corresponding organizational unit. |
General | With the Comprehensive check profile type, you can summarize all settings (except for the settings across organizational units) in one profile. This type can be used, for example, to maintain the settings for vendors and customers together in a check profile. During the check, the settings of the check profile that match the respective business partner are applied. |
Customers | All settings that are relevant for business partners with a customer role can be maintained in a check profile of the Customer type. These settings only affect individual company codes and sales organizations. Settings that affect all company codes and sales organizations are maintained in a check profile of the Across organizational units type. |
Vendors | All settings that are relevant for business partners with a vendor role can be maintained in a check profile of the Vendor type. These settings only affect individual company codes and purchasing organizations. Settings that affect all company codes and purchasing organizations are maintained in check a profile of the Across organizational units type. |
Employees | All settings that are relevant for business partners with an employee role can be maintained in a check profile of the Employee type. |
Other | The Other check profile type contains all settings that are not specifically for customers, vendors, or employees. |
CRM | The check profiles for CRM business partners and business transactions are only relevant if data from a connected CRM system is to be checked by Compliance Screening. This requires the corresponding setup in the CRM system. |
Service transactions (SAP S/4HANA) | Is relevant for checking service transactions (SAP S/4HANA). |
Locations | Is relevant for checking locations (in SAP S/4HANA). |
Enter a name for the check profile and define the block behavior, unblocking behavior, and the data to be checked:
- Block behavior: Use this field group to define whether the corresponding block is to be set or an existing block is to be overwritten.
- Unblocking behavior: Use this field group to determine whether the corresponding block is to be automatically removed without prompt when blocks are removed.
If you enable "Central block" or the "Not released" block in the check profile, no more blocks are generally set in the online check. In this case, set up the asynchronous check to set the blocks.
The following applies to the settings:
− In case a block had already been set before the block by Trade Compliance Management, it will not be deleted, but the monitor entry will be released.
− If the respective option for deletion without prompt is not set, the block will never be deleted automatically and you will always get a message.
Data to check field group: In this field group, the scope of the data checks is determined.
- Check all addresses: Mark this checkbox to determine whether all addresses are checked, independently of their validity or use.
- Check current standard address only: Mark this checkbox to determine that only the standard address of the business object valid at the time of the check is checked.
- Check names only: Mark this checkbox to determine that only the name of a business object without further information like city or street is to be checked.
- Check bank details: Mark this checkbox to determine that the bank details specified in the business object are to be checked. The bank account information consists of the bank and the recipient (account holder).
- Relationship type: Use this list to determine which business partner relationships are to be considered additionally during the check.
Export Controls settings field group: In this field group, additional settings for Export Controls checks can be configured.
- Delete releases automatically: Check this box to automatically delete releases. Releases are deleted during the Export Controls check. A release is only deleted if the associated document item is no longer included in the scope of checks of the export control check. This is the case, for example, if an item is deleted in the document or if the item is excluded from the screening subsequently. In case of an error when deleting a release you can repeat the function in the function call monitor (/AEB/FCCMONITOR).
- Check components: Check this box to include components of the bill of materials in document items that represent bills of materials in the Export Controls checks.
This option increases the volume of transmitted data and the number of export control checks. In Trade Compliance Management, the BOM check must be enabled in at least one profile and jurisdiction. This options is only available for the on-premises and AEB Private Cloud operating models.
Depending on the check profile type, the available settings can vary.
