Setting up logging

Go to AEB Cockpit: CustomizingLoggingLogs 2.0 sheet.

The settings cannot be transported. These settings should also be applied globally to all clients.

The default settings:

Default settings field group

Here you define the value applied to all logs to determine when a log can be deleted. You can also suppress the saving of function calls and logs by disabling the Logging option.

Alternative settings field group

Here you can customize the settings for any type of log. Such logs always consist of four values:

You can define generalized settings by leaving selected fields blank, beginning with the product and working down. You are not allowed, however, to leave the product field blank or to have spaces within the selection criteria.

Custom settings must first be enabled using the button before they can be used by the maintenance job. If you wish to use a custom setting again later, you don’t need to delete it, simply disable it.

If you would like to reset the settings to their default values, you can use the Reset to default values menu function. Available deviating settings are deactivated only and not deleted and values for default settings reset to their factory default settings.
