Setting up the maintenance of product master data

The installation steps described in this chapter are necessary only if the Export Controls module has been licensed.

You only need the installation steps described in this chapter in an S/4HANA® system and if you do not make the classifications in another solution yet.

These settings have to be transported.

Proceed as follows:

Go to AEB Cockpit: Customizing – Export Controls check and click Set up Classification to create the settings automatically.
Select the destination for maintaining product master data that has been created in the SOAMANAGER. This generates the required settings.

Generated settings

The following settings are generated automatically:

An ALL product group
A DEFAULT organizational unit to which all classification profiles are assigned via the ALL product group
Determination of organizational unit via SAP® client (/AEB/CL_TA_OUAD_STRAT01_BC)
Determination of the product group by industry sector and material type (/AEB/CL_TA_PGAD_STRAT01_BC)
