Configuring jobs
For more information on configuring jobs via the job monitor, see section Job monitor.
Unless otherwise documented, each job should only be set up once per SAP system. Some of the programs are generally executed for all products. Therefore, before creating a new job, check whether an existing job has already been released in the system.
The following jobs can be configured:

Repeat function calls | Automatically repeats failed function calls, e.g. if the transfer was not successful. Suggestion for frequency: Depending on the settings in the AEB Cockpit: Customizing – Setting for retryable function calls | /AEB/01_FCC_RETRY_JOB |
Journal synchronization | This job synchronizes the events of various journals. This report should be set up periodically (suggestion: every ten minutes) for the AES (Customs Management) product. | /AEB/01_JE_SYNC |
Archiving of customs documents | This job is only required if the archiving of customs documents has been set up. Archiving jobs are created when synchronizing with the target system. The job processes these jobs in order to save the customs documents in the stored archive. Suggestion for frequency: once a day | /AEB/AES_ET_AR |
Write export data back to the Export Controls releases | This job is only required if the Export Controls module is also set up for Trade Compliance Management in the client. For other requirements see section Integration with Export Controls. The job writes the export data back to the Export Controls releases. Schedule this job for response shortly after the job for synchronizing the export declarations. | /AEB/AES_ET_CLE |
