Determining profile
The following settings allow you to define how a profile is assigned to a business object.
Proceed as follows:
- Go to AEB Cockpit: Customizing – Determination of the profile.
- Choose the business object for which you want to define the determination of the profile.
- The second column indicates whether a setting already exists.
- First, define which rule is to be used to determine the profile.
- Once you have selected a rule, click Change.
- You can now make the necessary assignments of the profile in the lower part.
- If you have selected the rule for determination via partners, you must define the partner function that will be used for the assignment. You can assign a profile via the partner's country and number.
You can define this setting per organizational unit, type, and category of business object.
The fields can also be left blank when viewed from right to left. If you also leave the type empty, the specified rule is always used for every type of this business object. If you leave the type and category of the business object empty, the same rule will be used for the entered organizational unit. If you leave all three fields empty, the same rule is used for any type.
Use the search help to set the possible values for organizational unit, type, and category.
Available rules: For each business object, the determination of the profile can be done via a fixed assignment on client level. For some business objects it is possible to configure the determination of the profile based on a specific partner (partner role, country, and partner number).
If the assignment is to apply to all countries and numbers, leave both fields empty.
If you want it to apply only to a specific country, regardless of the partner's number, maintain only the country.
Create in a consignment profile with the same name of the profile in Customs Management.
