Enabling the app service

Proceed as follows to enable the app service:

  1. Start the transaction SICF.
  2. For example, enter "01_af_basic_app" in the Service Name field, then click Execute.
  3. In the tree that now appears, right-click on the entry “01_af_basic_app”, for example. You will find this in the tree structure below the entries “bsp” and “ui5_ui5”.
  4. In the context menu for both entries, select the Activate Service function, if this can be selected.
  5. Click Yes to confirm the prompt that follows.

Perform this action for the following entries:

01_af_basic_app

This app allows you to jump directly from the Fiori launchpad to the corresponding AEB applications without having to log in to the AEB application again.

01_tile_cfg_app

This app allows you to create tiles for AEB applications.

Execute the same action for the following entries:

These apps allow you to create or retransmit consignments/deliveries in Customs Management based on the corresponding business object. In addition, it is also possible to access the editing process from there.

These apps already have ready tiles in the /AE1/AES_CA_SAPUI5 catalog. It is not possible to create tiles for these apps via the tile configurator.
