Checking the external connectivity

A check is performed whether the server on which your AEB Engine is installed can connect to AEB to download messages.

Proceed as follows:

  1. You must have the I_ADMIN role.
  1. Log in to any client of your AEB Engine.
  2. In the office, go to Administration – Connection settings – Internet and click Connection test to perform a connection test.
  3. Replace the entered URL with http://update.aeb.com/x4/X4Informations/news.zip and click Test.
  4. If the test is successful, continue with the setup process:
