Configuring a logical port with LPCONFIG (up to SAP NetWeaver Release 7.0)

Creating HTTP destinations

Proceed as follows:

  1. Start the transaction SM59.
  2. Define a new HTTP connection (type G).
  3. Under Target system settings in the Host field, enter the server on which the AEB solution can be reached.
  4. Enter "443" as the port.
  5. For the path prefix, enter the following value: “/<Pathname AEB application>/servlet/bf/ATCConnectorBF”
  6. If a proxy is required for communication, enter the necessary proxy server data.
  7. Switch to the Login & security sheet.
  8. Enable Basic authentication under Login procedure and enter the user and password for logging in to the AEB solution. Please contact your AEB representative for the specific login parameters.
  9. Under Security options, set the status of the secure protocol to SSL active.
  10. Save the destination.

Configuring the logical port with LPCONFIG

Proceed as follows:

  1. Start the transaction LPCONFIG. Confirm the prompt displayed.
  2. In the Proxy class field, enter “/AEB/CO_02IATCCONNECTOR_BF”.
  3. In the Logical Port field, enter a name of your own choosing for the logical port.
  4. Do not declare this port as default port.
  5. Click the Create button. Enter a description for this logical port.
  6. On the Runtime sheet, leave the Web Service Infrastructure settings unchanged.
  7. On the Call parameters sheet, select http destination and enter the http destination just created in SM59.
  8. Save the logical port and activate it. Ignore the note regarding the default port that is displayed after activation.
