Parallel use of applications

If you create a server group with the “/AEB/DEFAULT” login group in transaction RZ12, it can be used by applications to work on tasks in parallel. If this server group is not defined, only the application server on which the application was run will be used.

The following application currently uses this feature: Automatically retry function calls.

The following applications use parallel processing only if the server group is explicitly defined with logon group “/AEB/DEFAULT”.

If this server group is not defined, only the process with which the application was started is used for processing: Engine journal processing.
