Configuring workstations for packing and printing stations
Directly in Carrier Connect, you configure “workstations” to control the printers on which your documents (shipping label or loading list) are to be printed.
You can assign a label printer and a standard printer (e.g. DIN A4) to each workstation, on which the print jobs assigned to you are printed. For more details on the printer environment see Configuring the printer infrastructure.
There are three standard rules for determining the respective workstation, which can be used for all consignment objects or for each consignment object.
Carrier Connect workstations represent a packing station or − in general − a printing station, e.g. in the shipping office.
