Using the tile configurator

You can use the tile configurator to create various tiles for AEB applications. You can create static or dynamic tiles as long as the respective application supports it:

• You can include static tiles in the Fiori launchpad to open the corresponding applications with parameters.
• Dynamic tiles can display additional information, such as the number of entries in a monitor.

To save the created tile, you need a transport request of the Customizing type.

The tile configurator creates a catalog according to the product and the login language. The applications created with the tile configurator are not automatically translated.

To create an application explicitly for a language, start the tile configurator in the corresponding login language. Alternatively, use the standard SAP translation functions. You can find more information on this at https://help.sap.com/docs/ by searching for “Translating Tiles”.
