Creating a tile group

You need tile groups to directly assign users to a specific set of tiles, without the user having to search for them using the App Finder. You can define both client-specific and client-independent tile groups.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Start transaction /UI2/FLPD_CUST or /UI2/FLPD_CONF.
  2. In the upper left corner, click on Groups.
  3. Select the plus sign.
  4. Specify a title and an ID.
  5. Click Save.
  6. The group is created.
  7. Click the plus sign in the Show as Tiles area.
  8. Select the catalog you just created.
  9. To add tiles to the catalog, click the green plus sign in the respective tile.
  10. The tile is added to the group.
  11. Repeat that step for all tiles that you wish to add to this group.
