Enabling external browser display

This setting applies across users and products.

If the Always use an external browser box is checked, all Engine applications are no longer displayed as HTML within the SAP GUI, but instead opened externally in the client's standard browser. It is recommended to check the box as incompatibilities may occur between the Internet Explorer Control used by the SAP standard and the AEB Web applications. In addition, Microsoft no longer maintains Internet Explorer.

Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the AEB Cockpit.
  2. Switch to the Customizing sheet.
  3. Select Settings for Engine applications to define settings.
