Creating a tile catalog

Not every app delivers a complete tile catalog and corresponding tiles. If you want to create your own tiles, you need a tile catalog.

Proceed as follows to create a tile dialog:

  1. Start the Launchpad Designer for the current client with transaction /UI2/FLPD_CUST.

    2. It makes more sense to define the tiles per client, since client-specific information is communicated to the tiles. If you want to define the tiles for all clients, you can use transaction /UI2/FLPD_CONF.

  2. Now create a new tile catalog by clicking on Catalogs in the upper left corner and then on the plus sign in the lower left corner.
  3. Now enter a title and an ID.
  4. Leave "Standard" as the type.
