New version of data service
The following changes are available starting with data service version 96.
Please note that the current service pack incorporates all previous changes to the data service.
Changes for EU locations
- The Free Trade Agreement between the European Union and New Zealand comes into force on May 1, 2024. The data service was adjusted accordingly and New Zealand has been added as a preferential partner for the EU.
- For the agreement between the European Union and Vietnam, the reference for the list rules was changed from HS 2012 to HS 2022 by Decision No. 2/2024 of the Trade Committee of January 16, 2024. This can result in changes to the rule assignment and effects on potentially self-created list rules.
- With the update of the pan-Euro-Med matrix, published in Official Journal C/2024/1623 of February 22, 2024, new cumulation possibilities were announced. Cumulation between Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova and between Ukraine and North Macedonia has been included in the EU data service.
Changes for locations in Switzerland
- New cumulation possibilities were announced with the update of the pan-Euro-Med matrix, published as a "specialist announcement" by the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security (BAZG) on February 28, 2024.
