Reporting supernumerary (abandoned) goods
You can use Customs Management to report abandoned or supernumerary goods (e.g. packages that cannot be assigned to a TAD). In this case, you must report another transit arrival for the abandoned goods with a link to the TAD where they were found.
- Open the transit arrival and click on the action Create transit arrival for supernumerary goods in the Assistant pane.
- A new transit arrival opens in the Supernumerary goods variant. Some data from the original declaration (e.g. the LRN) is filled in there and cannot be edited.
- The status of the original declaration changes to Remarks ready to send.
- Specify information about the supernumerary packages in the Supernumerary goods field group.
- Send the declaration by clicking on the Assistant message.
- The status of the declaration changes to Sent.
- Once you have received the acceptance from customs, the status of the declaration changes to Completed.
No release or unloading permission will be sent for supernumerary goods.
