Transferring e-dec data to Passar (e-dec)
During the transition period from e-dec to Passar, there will be economic operators (exporters) who still report their export declarations in e-dec, while their freight forwarders have already migrated and are processing transits in Passar.
In Customs Management, a convenient feature is available for freight forwarders to transfer transmitted export data from e-dec (before selection) to Passar. Selection takes place during the data transfer. A transit declaration (transit departure) must then be made.
To be able to use this functionality, Customs Management must be configured accordingly. For more information, contact your AEB representative or create a ticket in the Help Center.
How to carry out an e-dec data transfer:
- You must have an unselected e-dec export declaration.
- Go to Customs – Switzerland – E-dec data transfers.
- Click New and fill in all mandatory fields. The Assistant supports you in entering this data.
- The status of the declaration changes to Ready to declare.
- Send the message (NE130) using the Assistant message.
- The status of the declaration changes to Sent.
- As soon as the declaration has been accepted, the status changes to Completed (e-dec status code 205).
- Now initiate a transit (Passar) for this e-dec export declaration.
