Running transitions

If all the requirements have been met and Customs Management is appropriately configured, you can run transitions automatically. In this process, consignment data and the items specified in the data are used to generate customs declarations with customs declaration items for the selected customs process. Special templates are used to enter additional data in customs declarations and their corresponding items.

You can configure automatic transitions in the consignment profile settings, see Creating and editing consignment profiles and transitions.

How to perform a transition manually:

  1. Open a consignment with the status of Checked and switch to the Transitions sheet.
  2. Select a transition and click Run.
  3. Confirm the prompt.
  4. Customs Management creates one or more customs declarations according to the consignment profile stored in the consignment, which are then listed on the Transitionssheet – Customs processes field group in the consignment.
  5. If all transitions have been performed successfully, the status of the consignment changes to Complete. In the case of successive customs processes, the consignment status may depend on the progress of customs processing and may therefore take some time.
  6. View existing customs declarations: In the open consignment, switch to the Transitions sheet and open the relevant customs declaration in the Customs processes field group.

The default settings for transitions are defined in consignment profiles: To configure transitions, see Creating and editing consignment profiles and transitions.
