Creating and editing consignment manifests

If all the requirements have been met and Customs Management is appropriately configured, consignment manifests are automatically generated using the data from your ERP system. You also have the option, however, to enter consignment manifests manually and assign consignments to consignment manifests.

How to assign consignments to a consignment manifest:

  1. Go to CustomsConsignment manifests.
  2. Creating a new consignment manifest: Click New.
  3. Open existing consignment manifest: At the top of the overview, define any filter criteria you wish to apply, then click Search. Select a consignment manifest from the overview and click Open.
  4. Follow the prompts of the Assistant and enter the necessary data. Go to the Consignment manifest sheet. In the Profile field, select a consignment profile.
  5. Consignment profiles can contain one or more default settings for transitions, e.g. conditions or exceptions, as well as specifications for automation in the case of successive customs processes (“event trigger”). Conversely, transitions may contain settings for the aggregation of items and packages, templates, and automatic actions. Further information on consignment profiles and transitions can be found under Creating and editing consignment profiles and transitions.

  6. On the Linked consignments sheet, click Add to search for, select, and add existing consignments to the consignment manifest.
  7. When you are finished assigning consignments to the consignment manifest, click on the Assistant message Complete assigning consignments.
  8. The status of the consignment manifest changes to Compiled. The Assistant prompts you to complete the transitions.
  9. Complete all transitions of the consignment on the Transitions sheet.
  10. The status of the consignment manifest changes to Complete.
