Invalidating an export declaration manually
You can manually invalidate export declarations and change the status to Invalid if the export declaration has received an error or if it has been accepted but has not received a selection result, for example. You can later undo the manual invalidation of an export declaration.
Customs messages that are received following a manual invalidation are processed as usual, and the status of the export declaration is updated accordingly. Example: If a transaction was manually set to Invalid and then a release is subsequently received from the customs authorities, the status of the declaration changes to Released.
The customs authorities invalidate export declarations without selection result after a defined period. For this purpose, a batch in Customs Management automatically invalidates expired export declarations without selection result.
