Import: Electronic assessment decisions and bordereaux eVV (e-dec)

Electronic assessment decisions (eVVs) exist both for export and import. In import, bordereaux exist in addition.

The electronic assessment decision (eVV) a legally valid proof of customs clearance.

The eVVs for customs (VVZ), value-added tax (VVM), VAT refunds (RBM), and customs duty refunds (RBZ) can be automatically retrieved all together.

The bordereau of fees is a list of all documents (customs assessment decision, VAT assessment decision, customs refund, VAT refund) settled for a particular customs account and processing center at close of day. The amount of each assessment decision or refund is shown.

Bordereaux can also be automatically retrieved all together.

Individual and collective retrieval of eVV

You can use a batch to automatically retrieve all your eVVs for up to 10 days retroactively. In the respective retrieval settings, you define whether you wish to retrieve all eVVs or only those for which you have created a declaration in the AEB system. You also have the option to manually retrieve individual eVVs (including those older than 10 days).

A signature verification is run whenever an eVV is received. If the result is negative, the eVV is not imported. The result of the signature verification is saved in a check log. You have the option to run another ad hoc signature verification. The result of this ad hoc signature verification is not saved.

Collective and individual retrieval of bordereaux

You can use a batch to automatically retrieve all your bordereaux for up to 10 days retroactively. You also have the option to manually retrieve individual bordereaux (including those older than 10 days).

Open eVVs and bordereaux

An eVV overview lets you filter and open the retrieved eVVs for customs (VVZ), value-added tax (VVM), VAT refunds (RBM), and customs duty refunds (RBZ) as well as bordereaux. Bordereaux can also be saved in HTML format.

If you have licensed Import Filing CH, you can also open the eVV (in PDF format) from the corresponding import declaration.
