Denying individual functions
You can deny individual functions in allowed applications.
In contrast, it is not possible to allow individual functions in a denied application.
- Go to the required application in the Office, e.g. Master data – Companies.
- Open an object, such as a company, switch to the sheet with access to the function you wish to restrict – for example, the Employees sheet.
- Press the F8 key.
The Mask access rights window appears.
The table at the top lists all the functions whose rights you can edit, filtered based on the opened data record (e.g. Company) and sheet (e.g. Employees). - Select a function in the table – for example, data record Company – Open.
In the Access rights of selected function table, you now see all the roles for which rights to this entry have previously been defined. - Click New to add additional rights to the selected entry.
- In the Roles window, you can select from all defined roles.
- Select the desired role and click Apply.
- In the Right column, you can now choose whether the role should be allowed, necessary, or prohibited for this entry.
